How DoseFix produces a synthesis

DoseFix Editorial is the organizational author used for DoseFix event syntheses. It does not imply that a named reporter witnessed an event or that a human editor reviewed every page.

Collection and grouping

DoseFix monitors configured external publishers, validates source pages, extracts discrete current-event reports, and groups reports that appear to describe the same underlying event. Publisher roundups, opinion, retrospective analysis, and low-signal filler are excluded from event publication.

Synthesis and attribution

The service combines materially distinct facts, collapses repeated claims, tracks changes over time, and retains links to the original articles. Claims remain attributable to their sources. DoseFix does not relabel an external publisher’s reporting as DoseFix original reporting.

Automation and language models

Automated systems and language models assist with classification, extraction, clustering, summarization, contradiction handling, and translation. Generated output is constrained by publication and confidence rules, but automation can still make mistakes. Readers should consult the linked sources and official guidance for consequential decisions.

Translations

Canonical event copy is maintained in English and translated into supported languages. A translated page is a language version of the same DoseFix synthesis, not a claim of separate original reporting.

Updates and corrections

Event pages display when the DoseFix synthesis was first published and materially updated. New reports may update the timeline, confidence, known facts, or uncertainty. See the corrections policy to report a problem.
