Three probationers arrested for paying for false community service reports

Three individuals under community service supervision were arrested in Israel on suspicion of paying thousands of shekels for fictitious reports stating they had reported for their community service as required. The arrests concluded a two-month undercover investigation that involved an agent from the Israel Prison Service's YMAR unit. The investigation began after one of the probationers offered a detective from the 'Barkai' unit a bribe to falsely report that he had attended community service. This led to a covert operation conducted jointly by YMAR and the Barkai unit. Two vehicles were seized for potential confiscation.
