Man arrested at Ben Gurion Airport for stabbing teen who allegedly stabbed his son

A 47-year-old man from Holon was arrested at Ben Gurion Airport shortly before boarding a flight to Batumi, suspected of stabbing a 17-year-old who allegedly seriously wounded his son five months earlier. The suspect's son, in his 20s, is still in rehabilitation. The stabbing occurred the previous evening, and the teen was taken to Wolfson Medical Center with penetrating wounds in stable condition. Police from Holon station responded, gathered evidence, and began an investigation. The suspect was located at the airport with the help of Ben Gurion airport police and arrested before boarding. He was taken to Holon station for questioning and then jailed. Police will request a court extension of his remand.
