Israel's SIBAT head reveals six countries in talks for Israeli defense systems; Greece deal may expand

At the signing of the 'Achilles Shield' agreement with Greece, Israel's SIBAT director Yair Kulas said that six countries—four in Europe and two elsewhere—are in various stages of negotiations to purchase Israeli defense systems. He noted that the $3 billion euro deal with Greece could expand as Greece may seek additional munitions and wider deployment. Kulas highlighted that Israel will deliver munitions within three years, with supply continuing over six years, faster than US alternatives. He emphasized the economic benefits for Israel and the strategic partnership with Greece, which fears a military confrontation with Turkey, particularly in the northern Cyprus area.
