Canadian intern arrested in Belgium on suspicion of spying for a foreign power at NATO headquarters

According to reports, a Canadian citizen of Chinese origin, identified as Zhang, was arrested in Belgium on suspicion of spying for a foreign power. Zhang worked as an intern in the IT department at NATO headquarters. She allegedly exhibited suspicious behavior, including entering unauthorized areas, showing unusual curiosity about colleagues, and accessing classified data files outside her professional responsibility. NATO's internal security services passed intelligence to Belgian military intelligence, which launched a covert investigation. A raid in July on her home and workstation at NATO headquarters led to her immediate arrest.
